What impact does corona have on your work at Schakenraad Advocaten?

Indeed, Corona has an impact on our work. In addition to the fact that we see fewer traffic accidents, fewer work-related accidents and fewer medical errors and we therefore see fewer new personal injury cases coming in, we miss the contact with our clients and colleagues enormously! 

What changes through Corona have you experienced as positive?

As probably every office organization has experienced, working from home is a good alternative and of course also has advantages, such as the loss of travel time and the smart organization of your working time. But to be honest, that does not outweigh the lack of being able to spar together about matters at the office, which is different by telephone or video calling.

What would you personally like to do first when everything "opens up" again?

I predict a real 'summer of love' when we can (end) this summer a bit more together. In any case, I'm going out for dinner, going out and going to concerts! And as a mother of two small children, I yearn to do fun things with them again, because those little ones are now also tired of the playgrounds in the neighborhood ...

What is your best personal memory of 2020?

I think that is the deeper bond you build with your family when you are so dependent on each other. And that we had beautiful weather this summer, so that we could at least spend our days outside.
