As the lockdown measures are lifting soon, and some semblance of normalcy is being restored, this is your chance of stocking up on good reads! Here are some books that kept me company through the pandemic.

1. The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho- This book has some very important life lessons disguised in simple but insightful metaphors. I first read it as a teenager, but the beautiful narrative has stuck with me. Read this for a feel-good story that will surely lift your spirits!

2. Harry Potter series- The Harry Potter series has captured the hearts of children and adults alike, and is set in the beautiful and wondrous land of magic and fantasy. While we never got the Hogwarts invite when we turned 11, the characters and the struggles they face are quite relatable even to us muggles!

3. The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse by Charlie Mackesy- This beautifully illustrated book has such wonderful artwork that you’ll be engrossed instantly. The book portrays the insightful conversations among the titular characters, and thoughts that we can all take inspiration from!

If you haven’t read some of these yet, make sure to give them a try! Enjoy them outside over these beautiful sunny days!
