Dutch children are the happiest, but how come?

After research it turned out that children in the Netherlands are one of the happiest among the world. But how come? Is it the facilities we have for children or the upbringing from the parents? We’ll explain.

A new UNICEF study showed this. The UN children’s rights organisation conducted a study about the mental health, physical health, and academic and social skills of children aged 0 – 18 in the 41 wealthiest countries. The research has showed that the Netherlands are on the number one place to grow up as a kid, followed by Denmark and Norway.

The Netherlands is also ranked on the number one spot as it comes to life satisfaction. Children in our country are with a whopping 93% satisfied with their lives! That are amazing statistics! But we can’t be first at everything. We came 9^th for children’s physical health. In social and academic skills we reached the 3^rd place. Overall a good performance for our small country.
